The Project

The project “Intercultural Learning and Social Inclusion Through Culture” starts from the common needs of the 5 partner institutions from Germany, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and France. The main aim of the project is to allow 75 youth workers from the 5 partner organizations, as target groups, to promote social inclusion through culture.

The project methodology  consists of TPMs (Trans National Meetings) and LTTAs based on non-formal activities using as support the national cultural elements and UNESCO heritage; each partner  brings new approaches to add value the project

TPM- Trans National Meetings
These meetings are intended to prepare, evaluate and asses the Training meetings (LTTA). During these meetings each partner organization sends two representatives. The kick off TPM was held in Potsdam where project. Here the future of the project was discussed and dates for further meetings agreed on.

The first LTTA was equally planed as well as task distribution.
The second TPM was in Spain. Goal was the assessment of the first LTTA held in France and preparation on the upcoming LTTAs in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Turkey

The third TPM was the last meeting held in France. Aim was assessment of the project in general and discussion on future perspectives.

LTTA – Training Meetings
There were five LTTAs altogether. Each partner organization hat the opportunity to host and train 15 youth workers in each session. In each session there were new and innovative methodologies and exchange of good practice in the promotion of social inclusion through culture. The use of comics, music, graffiti as street culture, dance were all enriching to the project. There were many cultural visits as well.
The first LTTA was in France, the second in Spain, the third in Potsdam, the fourth in Portugal and the last but not the least in Turkey.
